Really impressive curation of biotech breakthroughs here. The automated click chemistry platform for screening 700 metal complexes in a week kinda shows how far miniaturization and automation have come in drug discovery. I've worked with traditional high-throughput screening setups before, and getting that kind of throughput without sacrificing compound diversity was always the tradeoff. What seems noteworthy is how thee iridium compounds interact with bacteria through 3D geometries instead of flat structures, potentially sidestepping the usual resistance pathways entirely.
